SUSTAINABLE together
VB was founded in 1966 under the name J&A Verbakel Verwarming by brothers Joop and Aad Verbakel. In De Lier, they started a heating company together for Dutch Greenhouse Horticulture. Not long after, the first steps were taken beyond the Netherlands in Belgium, Germany and France, among others.
Climate, the common thread running through our organisation It crossed over to the USA in the early 1970s. Many other countries followed in the subsequent years, but it also became clear to the brothers that supplying and fitting heating systems only was rather limited. To expand their activities further, they acquired Bomkas Kassenbouw from Wateringen in 1983.

VB, PB tec, Havecon, Bom Group, VEK Adviesgroep, SCRE3NS, JB Hydroponics, Kascoplex en CambridgeHOK vormen samen een krachtig kennisplatform op het gebied van totale teeltconcepten, kassenbouw, water, klimaat, automatisering, energie en advisering.
