Greenhouse construction

A sustainable relationship, that goes back for years. As home installer we realized a total of more than 70 ha of identical greenhouses and geothermal heat solutions. 

Along the A4 highway, VB built an impressive greenhouse complex for Schenkeveld (Prominent), grower of tomatoes.

4Evergreen is commited to sustainability in multiple ways. Greenhouses are heated by residual heat from the industry. The cultivation is as CO2-neutral as possible, because of the usage of the residual heat, and CO²  of fertilizer factory Yara.  

The new greenhouse complex forms the basis of the worldwide production of all varieties of the Dümmen Orange range. This makes this location the heart of future production and will serve as a benchmark for modern hygienic standards.

Intergrow continues to grow to a cultivation area of 25 ha, with a heat storage tank with a capacity of no less than 10,000,000 litres of water. So far the largest in the USA.

Realizing an ultramodern greenhouse is a challenge that VB knows how to handle. The climate on the east coast was the biggest challenge.

Minnesota-based Bushel Boy Farms expands its commitment to meeting Midwest demand for local, high-quality fresh produce as it breaks ground on a new 20 hectare / 50-acre facility in Mason City, Iowa on September 11. The $35 million investment in the new facility will increase current production by 50% and is expected to bring approximately 50 full-time jobs to the city. Tomatoes will be the initial crop.
