Trias Westland, in collaboration with VB, ensures a sustainable way of growing for 25 horticultural companies. VB is responsible for the realization of the above-ground installation of the Trias Westland geothermal project.
With several locations in The Netherlands, Hoogweg is one of the biggest growers of bell peppers of the country. September 2016 a new location of 50 hectares was built in Luttelgeest. VB completed a complete climate solution for this location.
The technology for sourcing heat or cooling from the earth has much improved in recent years. VB is one of the leading companies in the application of geothermal heat. Many of our successful projects have already clearly proven that our experience with heat pumps can provide true added value in the use of geothermics.
Sustainable energy is clean energy, and just about limitless. Generating geothermal heat has little or no harmful impact on the environment. In addition, the energy supply captured in the earth's crust is almost infinite. Geothermal heat is sustainable energy and, unlike solar or wind generated energy, consistent. It is our aim to provide Dutch horticulture with sustainable geothermal solutions.
